NORDSTROM OPENING - YOGA ACTIVATION

When it comes to activations, identifying your target audience’s interests and how they align with your product/service is key and Nordstrom did just that by choosing the perfect event for the grand opening of their Toronto location. By creating a relaxing yoga session right by Lake Ontario near Cherry beach, Nordstrom was able to connect with their target, an affluent and fitness conscious audience ready to sweat it out. We were there to capture it all!
It was a humid day but yoga lovers pulled up regardless. The activation was featuring Zella, Nordstrom's athletic wear line designed with comfort in mind and performance technology for women, men and girls. Greenhouse Juice Co. fresh cold pressed juice and refreshments were setup at the bar to greet yogis after the class. Starting off with a dance number to get the crowd going followed by some stretching and then into the various yoga poses.
The 2 influencers led the sessions as everyone stretched and breathed attaining zen and some awesome giveaways from the Nordstrom team. Afterwards, class goers were able to enjoy and mingle amongst one another, enjoy the cold pressed juice and refreshments and ofcourse selfie it up at a photobooth all while overlooking Lake Ontario. Overall, it was an activation focused around physical and spiritual health giving like minds an opportunity to connect as well. Now that is something you always want to facilitate and be associated with as a retail brand moving into a more conscious future.
